Local and federal authorities are seeking to apprehend a 37-year-old Fargo man who failed to appear in Cass County District Court on drug-related charges.
Jon Anthony Gross was charged in July with possession of a controlled substance – in this case, methamphetamines – and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both charges are class C felonies.
Court records show Gross failed to appear for a preliminary hearing and arraignment on Aug. 2, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Gross has a lengthy criminal history in North Dakota’s court system.
He’s been convicted of possessing drug paraphernalia at least four times since 2000.
His record also includes multiple convictions in misdemeanor cases – such as theft and disorderly conduct – and in felony cases that include terrorizing, simple assault, and forgery.
