Local and federal authorities are seeking to apprehend a 24-year-old Fargo man who is wanted on two open warrants in Cass County District Court.

Christopher Devin Powell is foremost wanted for allegedly violating the terms of his probation on a felony aggravated assault conviction last September.

Powell was sentenced to one year in prison, with 313 days suspended pending successful completion of a one year supervised probationary period that ends next month.

State prosecutors sought to revoke Powell’s probation in June, after which a judge approved a warrant for his arrest.

Earlier spring, two misdemeanor charges were filed against Powell in Cass County in a separate case, which where Powell was allegedly found to be driving with a suspended license and without required liability insurance.

A bench warrant was issued for his arrest March 27.
